Welcome to Shih Tzu By The Shore.  This web site is intended to help interested families looking for a wonderful house pet.  The shih tzu is one of the most lovable and intelligent breeds you can choose to make a member of your family!  They enjoy people, get along well with children and best of all, they don't shed.  They are an outstanding dog to use for therapy.

The handsome fellow you see to the right is our Champion WenShu Peking Action ( Preston ).  He was born March 2008.  He is a Gold and White.  There are pics of him trimmed on our Photo page. He is co owned with us by Donna Gerl.

Our goal is to provide prospective families with a pet that has a wonderful temperament and personality.  Also, a healthy puppy, just not for today, but for the 'long run'.  Also, a pet that meets the standards of its breed.  The excellent pedigrees will document our goals and help ease doubts about our intent as breeders.

We encourage prospective families to visit our home and how our dogs and puppies are included in our daily lives!  We will help answer any questions you might have about training, grooming, etc.

 MOTHERS

Cha Cha comes to us as a two year old champion sired girl.( See pic "My Photos")  Her wonderful  personality is beyond words.  She is now 3 years old.  Please let us know if you are seriously considering one of Cha Cha's puppies and placing a deposit to hold a puppy for you.  Contact and deposit info are located at the end of this home page.

Riley ( "Life of Riley" ) has been retired and placed in a loving home situation! Riley's line continues with Rosetta (Rosey).  Rosey is almost two years old.  She is a 9 pound black and white sweet beauty with the ability to win your heart and entertain you, too!  Her agility is amazing.

Champion Dancer is a 5 year old champion from Seminole Kennels.  She is a beauty with her baby face and strawberry red and white coat.  She is a compact 10 pounds.  We look forward to an extra special something from our two champions. 

We are hoping for a litter from Rosey and from Champion Dancer this fall. Both of these ladies will be bred with Preston.

 PUPPIES

Cha Cha's puppies have all been placed in new and loving homes.  We hope all their new families enjoy them as much as we did!

Rosey (pic at right) will be bred by mid August, we hope!  She will be bred to our Preston.  Rosey's sire was a Gold and White.  So, with Preston being Gold and White, we are hoping for a variety of colors.  Usuaslly the Black and White is dominant.  We will be anxious to see their beautriful faces....no matter what color! 

Champion Dancer will be bred mid to late August, we hope!  We are considering a match with Ch. Skyler owned by Mary Carraway.  Dancer has a lighter red color that has held very well, as she is 5 years old.  Skyler has a medium red colored coat.  We are anxious to see what red colors they produce.  Again, the quality will be wonderful with both parents being gorgeous dogs! 

Puppies are sold with a spay/neuter agreement.  

Deposits

Deposits will be half the value of the puppy.  The deposit will be transferable to another puppy or puppy from another litter, however; it is not refundable unless the breeder decides not to sell a puppy to the purchaser because puppy develops to show potential, etc...
